| Born and bred 35 years back in remote rural area of the former Venda Homeland in Limpopo province. A qualified teacher by profession SACE registered and taught for 5 years at Primary School, Technical High School and Technical College, Accredited Moderator & Assessor by ETDP SETA. A graduate from Technikon Northern Transvaal now Tshwane University of Technology with two diplomas and degree (National Diploma Public Management &Administration, National Higher Diploma in Education and Baccalaureus Degree in Post school Education) & Diploma in Computer Literacy (Cum Laude) from Business Management Training of South Africa. I possesses courses i.e. ICDL, A+, CCNA, ITIL Foundation, ICT Management & Using Information for Management. What does working at INSETA mean to you? I have joined a new family, in a new environment with a lot of challenges in corporate governance and prepared to handle them in an unbiased and professional manner. Influences in your life? I am who I am today by the influences of Mr John Gumede, a blind teacher from Soshanguve, Pretoria who is an IT Technician being blind, He introduced me to computer world in 1995. If I were president for a day, I will address the issue of homeless and street kids by giving them shelter to accomodate them across the country. Favourite place? Mpumalanga Province, Echo Caves, Three Randvels, God's Windows. I last visited the area in 1981, I was nine years old, it was a school trip. The place is too natural & beautiful. Where have you worked before? I bring along 12 years experience from public sector setting as a Teacher/Lecturer (Gauteng Department of Education), Assistant Director Information Technology (Greater sekhukhune District Municipality, Groblerdal) Section Head Information Management & Technology (Emalahleni Local Municipality, Witbank) and Deputy Director Corporate Services: IT & Facilities Management (Gauteng Department of Health Tembisa Hospital). What do you do to relax? by assisting my kids with their school home work, gardening, and swimming as well as outing to local parks. Who is your hero? my father John Mulaudzi, he is a real father figure who managed to raise a big family of 12 kids of his own and extended family members while working as adriver for Railway. |
