This division manages the logistics of the INSETA office environment as well as fulfilling the following
roles and functions:
|
- Statutory functions to the broad based insurance and investment industry efficiency (especially with
regard to the implementation of best practice business, planning, management and administrative processes)
- Coordinates all INSETA reports to the Department of Labour and SAQA or any other institutions
- Ensures that INSETA follows best practice in terms of Corporate Governance compliance issues
- Ensures that all administrative and logistical requirements, i.e. procurement and commercial
transactions (including the drafting, negotiation of legal contracts and service level agreements) are attended to
- Liaises with INSETA service providers
- Drafts INSETA policies and procedures and ensure compliance with these
- Develops customer management strategies and processes for the office, including the management of
office communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitates the Human Resources-related functions for INSETA employees, including performance
management and training and development
- Maintains sound financial controls within INSETA, including the approval and payments of expenses
- Deals with security and risk mitigation requirements on all INSETA assets
