Employer and Training Provider Readiness Survey

The Department of Higher Education and Training and the INSETA require information on the readiness of employers and training providers in the insurance sector to resume with learning programmes in the light of the Coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, we would appreciate it if all INSETA registered employers and accredited training providers complete this short survey. It should take about 10-15 minutes. We value your inputs and look forward to your responses in supporting our efforts.

Insurance SETA (Inseta) Funded SKYE Competency Register and Training Report Software

FSP’s and particularly SMME’s are finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with the ever changing FAIS compliance regulations.  The recent FSCA Board Notice 194 OF 2017 and FAIS Notice 86 of 2018 outlined the new Fit and Proper requirements relating to Class of Business Training, RE, CPD hours, Product Specific Training and Qualification requirements.  These requirements are based largely on representative license categories and date of first appointment (DOFA) dates for each FAIS representative in the practice. The new Competency Register together with planning and control requirements are complicated and time consuming and include a number of technical management challenges for most FSP’s.

The Skye Competency Register Module is fully funded by INSETA which allows us to offer this module at no cost to a limited number of registered FSP’s in the Insurance Sector.

Users will also have the option to access the full SKYE Client Relationship and Document Management, Compliance, HR and Practice Management modules at affordable and discounted rates.

Attached please find the SKYE Application Form together with examples featuring the full SKYE software.
